Boundaries levelled, faces squared off, tops dead straight. Every last clipping cleared off the lawn before we leave. From beech and hornbeam down to leylandii and laurel.
A single cut a year, usually late summer once nesting is well over and growth has settled. Booked in advance for regular clients.
For hedges that have got away. Brought back to the right height and width without leaving brown patches.
Done carefully (these species do not recover from cuts into old wood). Top reductions and face trims kept inside the green growth.
All clippings raked off the lawn, off the borders, and either chipped on site or taken away.
August to late February for most species, avoiding the nesting season (March to July). We do not cut a hedge with active nests in.
A face cut into green growth is fine. A cut into bare brown wood will not regrow. We can usually reduce a conifer hedge top by 1 to 2 metres safely; bigger reductions need a longer conversation.
Up to about 5 m off ground with platforms. Taller hedges we will quote a small MEWP into the price.
By default, yes. Some clients ask us to leave them on a compost heap; some want them off site entirely. Agreed on the quote visit.
Tell us about the tree and where it is. Free quote, usually back to you the same day.
